Advanced Creative Writing

Creating a Chapter Book

This course will take the students through the editing and production process of creating a chapbook. Starting with a short story, essay, piece of creative non-fiction, or a selection of poems, students will undertake all aspects of making their own chapbook, including, editing, design, layout, and production. When the chapbooks are complete, there will be a public reading and launch of the books.

Prerequisites

CWRI 295/3.0 or CWRI 393/3.0 or CWRI 394/3.0 and permission of the instructor. 

Equivalency CWRI 296/3.0*.
