Session Overview: Join us for a cozy, reflective, hands-on gathering session to explore the quiet elegance of allium flowers after they bloom. Each participant will receive a dried allium, nature's second gift, to observe, reflect with, and take home as a keepsake. This event invites you to connect with nature in two meaningful ways:

    1. Step Outdoors and Discover â€“ We warmly encourage you to step outside and explore Queen's campus gardens while allium flowers are still in bloom. These vibrant purple blossoms, made up of hundreds of tiny star-shaped flowers, form striking globe-like clusters. Their presence is fleeting—take a moment now to notice and savour their beauty before they fade.
    2. Learn and Reflect&²Ô²ú²õ±è;–&²Ô²ú²õ±è;Join us July 10 - As the alliums begin their natural transformation, we'll gather for a cozy, reflective session to explore their quiet elegance after the bloom. You will:
    • Reflect on the value of patience, seasonal change, and nature's quiet rhythms
    • Learn how growing alliums from seed can take several years, offering a deeper appreciation of slow growth and renewal
    • Harvest and take home any produce that is ready in the garden beds on the day of the session
