Students Experience Fulford Place as Part of HIST 402: How Pandemics Shaped the History of the World

Students in HIST 402: How Pandemics Shaped the History of the World had a wonderful trip to Fulford Place Museum in Brockville last week!

Students and department staff enjoyed a tour of the luxurious Edwardian mansion that was constructed by Senator George T. Fulford in 1899-1901. George T. Fulford made his fortune from his patent medicine "Pink Pills for Pale People" which was marketed and sold around the world.

A special thanks to the Ontario Heritage Trust and the Friends of Fulford Place Association for sharing the history of Fulford Place with our students and staff.
